Ara Malikian, a violinist of Lebanese-Armenian descent, will perform in Belgrade at the Sava Center on October 14, 2020, as part of a world tour.

Ara Malikian is a world-renowned artist, the biggest star among violinists today. He is often portrayed as a Lebanese virtuoso with Armenian spices. The classically educated musician has, over the years, blended music from different cultures, which includes Spanish flamenco, Argentine tango as well as gypsy music. His interpretation is rooted in Arab and Jewish culture. He often performs rock songs and movie hits at concerts.

Born 1968. years. He lives in Madrid. He has recorded more than 40 albums and produced many plays.

Because of his musicality and virtuosity as a young violinist, he was awarded the Niccolo Paganini Award. He tells himself that he wants to be Paganini in Jimmy Hendrix’s suit.
